Alendronate Sodium
Swallow with 6–8 oz of plain water immediately in the morning.
Take 30 minutes before food, drinks, or other medications.
Do not lie down for 30 minutes after taking.
Swallow whole.
If a dose is missed, skip it.
Do not double doses.
Raloxifene Hydrochloride
Discontinue 72 hours prior to and during periods of prolonged immobilization.
Avoid prolonged restriction of movement during travel.
Take calcium and vitamin D.
May be taken without regard to meals.
If dose is missed, take as soon as possible.
Amoxicillin Trihydrate
Take on an empty stomach 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals with a full glass of water.
Chewable tablets must be chewed before swallowing or can be crushed and mixed with food.
Take ATC (around the clock).
Complete the full course of therapy.

Shake suspension well.

Take at the start of a meal to enhance absorption.
Take with a full glass of water.

Shake suspension well.
Keep in the refrigerator, Discard after 10 days.
Azithromycin Dihydrate
Tablets and suspensions may be taken with food.
Extended-release forms should be taken without food.
Do not take antacids within 1 hour of the dose.
If a dose is missed, take as soon as possible.
Cefdinir
No antacids or iron within 2 hours of dose.
Discard unused suspension after 10 days.
If dose is missed, take as soon as possible.
Complete the full course of therapy.
Ciprofloxacin HCl
Avoid prolonged skin exposure to sunlight.
Prefer to take 2 hour after meals
Do not double doses.
Complete the full course of therapy with a full glass of water.
Take tablets whole.
Do not take with antacids.
Oral suspension may be kept at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
Discard suspension after 14 days.
Levofloxacin
If dose is missed, take as soon as possible.
Do not double dose.
Complete therapy with a full glass of water.
May be taken without regard to meals.
Do not take antacids, sucralfate, or metal cations such as iron and multivitamins containing zinc within 2 hours of the dose.
Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight.
Clindamycin Hydrochloride
If dose is missed, take as soon as possible.
Do not double dose.
May be taken without regard to meals.
Complete therapy with a full glass of water.
Cephalexin Monohydrate
Preferably take on an empty stomach with a full glass of water.
Prefer ATC.
Complete the full course of therapy.
If dose is missed, take as soon as possible.
Keep suspension in the refrigerator, Discard suspension after 14 days
Doxycycline Hyclate
Preferably take on an empty stomach with a full glass of water.
May take with food or milk if GI upset occurs.
Take ATC.
Complete the full course of therapy.
Avoid prolonged sun exposure.
If dose is missed, take as soon as possible.
Minocycline Hydrochloride
Preferably take on an empty stomach.
May take with food or milk if GI upset occurs.
Take full therapy at even intervals.
Do not take antacids within 2 hours of the dose.
If dose is missed, take as soon as possible.
Mupirocin
Report dermatitis or swelling.
Cover area with a small film; do not rub in.
Do not use in or around the eyes.
Do not use nasal ointment with other nasal preparations.
If dose is missed, use as soon as possible.
Ofloxacin
Complete the full course of therapy.
If dose is missed, take as soon as possible.
Lie down or tilt head back and look up.
Place drops in the lower lid.
Do not touch dropper to the eye or fingers.
Keep the eye open for 30 seconds.
Apply pressure to the inside corner of the eye for at least 1 minute.
Wait 5 minutes before instilling other eye preparations.
Avoid tightly closing the eyes after instillation.
Sulfamethoxazole/Trimethoprim
Preferably take on an empty stomach with a full glass of water.
If dose is missed, take as soon as possible.
Complete the full course of therapy.
Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight.
Anastrozole
If dose is missed, take as soon as possible, but do not double dose.
Tamoxifen Citrate
If dose is missed, take as soon as possible, but do not double dose.
Methotrexate
Preferably take on an empty stomach.
Stay hydrated.
Avoid alcohol.
Avoid salicylates.
Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight.
Follow contraceptive measures after ending therapy.
For a daily schedule, contact the doctor if a dose is missed.
For a weekly schedule, take the missed dose as soon as possible and restart the schedule from that date.
Complete all required periodic laboratory work.
Dexamethasone
Do not stop medication unless instructed.
May take with food if GI upset occurs.
If dose is missed, take as soon as possible.
Methylprednisolone
Do not stop medication unless instructed.
May take with food if GI upset occurs.

Take with food ATC.
May discolor urine.

Use condoms for trichomoniasis.
If dose is missed, take as soon as possible but do not double dose.
Amlodipine Besylate
May be taken without regard to meals.
If dose is missed, take as soon as possible.
If it is within 12 hours of the next dose, skip the missed dose.
Do not take OTC cough and cold medications without talking to the doctor first.
Amlodipine Besylate/Benazepril Hydrochloride
Avoid OTC cough, cold, and allergy medications unless instructed.
Avoid salt substitutes containing potassium.
If dose is missed, take as soon as possible; do not double dose.
May be taken without regard to meals.
Diltiazem Hydrochloride
Take on an empty stomach.
May cause dizziness.
If dose is missed, take as soon as possible; do not double dose.
Hydralazine Hydrochloride
Take with food.
Avoid OTC medications containing decongestants or sodium salts.
May cause headache or palpitations during the first few days of therapy.
If dose is missed, take as soon as possible; do not double dose.
Prazosin Hydrochloride
If dose is missed, take as soon as possible; do not double dose.
May cause drowsiness.
First dose should be taken at bedtime due to possible orthostatic hypotension. (sudden decrease in BP when stand up quick)
Avoid OTC decongestants or sodium-containing products.
Terazosin Hydrochloride
Take first dose at bedtime to avoid syncope.
Avoid activities requiring alertness for 12 hours after the initial dose.
If dose is missed, take as soon as possible unless the next dose is within 12 hours.
Avoid OTC cough, cold, and allergy medications.
Prednisolone Acetate
Shake well before use.
Re-evaluate therapy if improvement is not seen in 2 days.
Use anti-infective treatment when mandatory in cases of bacterial infection.
Do not stop abruptly.
Olopatadine Hydrochloride
Do not wear contact lenses if the eye is red.
Allow at least 10 minutes after use before inserting contacts.
Wash hands before application.
Do not touch the dropper to any surface.
How to Instill Drops:
Lie down or tilt the head back and look up.
Pull down the skin under the eye to create a small "sac" in the lower lid.
Instill the drops into the sac.
Keep the eye open for a few seconds.
