開ける/ あける

Ichidan verb

Open something (Transitive)

Ex: メアリーさんはまどを開けます。→ Mary opened the window.

開く/ あく

Godan verb

Something opens (Intransitive)

Ex: まどが開きました。→　the window opened.

閉める/ しめる

Ichidan verb

Close something (Transitive)

Ex: メアリーさんはドアを閉めました。→　Mary closed the door.

閉まる/ しまる

Ex: ドアがしまりました。→

入れる/ いれる

Ichidan Verb

Put something in (Transitive)

犬を入れます　→　I put the dog inside.

入る/ はいる

出す/ だす

Godan Verb

Take something out (Transitive)

部屋に猫を出します。→　I let the cat out of the room.

消す/ けす
