Cell organelles known as the "powerhouses" that generate energy through cellular respiration.

Cellular Respiration

Metabolic process in mitochondria converting glucose and oxygen into usable cellular energy (ATP).

Human Heart

Muscular organ with four chambers that pumps blood throughout the body.

Atria

The two upper chambers of the heart that receive blood returning to the heart.

Ventricles

The two lower chambers of the heart that pump blood out to the lungs and the rest of the body.
