The 13th Amendment

• Slavery was abolished expect if crimes were commited and will recieve punishments

• There was no citizenship given

• Newly freed people were helped

• The new order was supported

• Anyone born in the USA was a US citizen

• People of color couldn’t vote

The 15th Amendment

• Citizens have the right to vote no matter the race so therefore men of color could vote.

• All women can’t vote though.

• Were very strict

• Had military reconstruction

• Enforce universal rights

• The KKK (Klu Klux Klan) spread terror

• The KKK burned down schools

• The KKK burned down churches

• The KKK targeted Freedmen, Republicans & Catholics
