Power series
A series of the form S(x) = a0 + a1x + a2x^2 + … which converges to a function.
Convergence of a series
The property that a series approaches a finite value as more terms are added.
Derivative
A mathematical operation that measures the rate of change of a function.
Anti-derivative
The reverse operation of differentiation; finding a function whose derivative is the given function.
Euler's Formula
The equation e^(ix) = cos(x) + i sin(x), relating complex exponentials to trigonometric functions.
Arctan(x)
The inverse tangent function, which gives the angle whose tangent is x.
Integration
The process of calculating the area under a curve.
Limits of integration
The values at which the integration begins and ends, determining the scope of the area calculated.
Function intersection
The points at which two functions have the same output value.
Slice of a cone
A cross-section of a cone obtained by slicing through the shape, which can be used to calculate volume.
