I am going to do a college program at a camp called NBI. During the school year, I will be helping out with the retreats on the weekends, and then on the weekends I’ll be taking the classes.

Voy a realizar un programa universitario en un campamento llamado NBI. Durante el año académico, ayudaré en los retiros los fines de semana y también asistiré a clases esos mismos días.

Last year my mom was diagnosed with colon cancer, and I didn’t know if she would make it or not, it was really hard for my family. thankfully as of now she is healthy, but at the time I fell into a deep depression. However through it all God was faithful, and through it I grew in my faith and I grew closer to my mom too.

El año pasado a mi madre le diagnosticaron cáncer de colon y no sabía si lograría superarlo; fue una situación muy difícil para mi familia. Afortunadamente, hoy en día goza de buena salud, pero en aquel entonces caí en una profunda depresión. Sin embargo, Dios fue fiel en todo momento; gracias a esa experiencia crecí en mi fe y también me acerqué más a mi madre.
