If you import clips into Premiere straight from a memory card instead of from a raw footage folder, which of the following will likely be true when you next open the project?

You'll get a 'Missing Media' message on those clips.

You won't be able to use those clips if the card is no longer connected to the computer.

You'll have to re-ingest those clips into a raw footage folder.

You'll hope and pray that a) you can find the card that has the clips and b) no one cleared the memory card and trashed your clips! :-)

You'll need to right-click the clip(s), then click 'Link Media' to 'locate' the files for use in Premiere.
