Polygon
A closed figure formed by a finite number of straight line segments.

Vertex
A point where two or more line segments meet.

Side
A line segment that forms part of the boundary of a polygon.

Convex
A polygon where all interior angles are less than 180 degrees.

Concave
A polygon that has at least one interior angle greater than 180 degrees.

Diagonal
A line segment that connects two non-adjacent vertices of a polygon.

Perimeter
The total distance around the outside of a polygon.
Equilateral polygon
A polygon with all sides of equal length.

Equiangular polygon
A polygon with all angles of equal measure.

Regular polygon
A polygon that is both equilateral and equiangular.
