Covalent Bond
A chemical bond formed by the sharing of electrons between atoms.
Non-Polar Covalent Bond
A type of bond where electrons are shared equally between atoms, resulting in no partial charges.
Polar Covalent Bond
A type of bond where electrons are shared unequally, leading to partial charges on the bonded atoms.
Hydrogen Bond
A weak attraction between a hydrogen atom with a partial positive charge and another electronegative atom.
Electronegativity
The tendency of an atom to attract electrons towards itself when it is bonded to another atom.
Molecular Shape and Size
The physical structure of a molecule, which affects its interactions and properties.
