Good medical professionals are:
Competent
Provide good standard of clinical care
Maintain, develop and improve their performance (audits, revalidation, mentoring)
Managing resources effectively and sustainably
Competent
in formal leadership/management roles, research and teaching
work within limits of competence
up-to-date with guidelines and developments and follow them
necessary knowledge of english language to provide good care
Provide good standard of clinical care
work in partnership with patients when assessing, diagnosing and treating them, to assess their needs and priorities
take history, physical exam if necessary, promptly provide advice, investigation/treatment where necessary, only prescribe with adequate knowledge of patient health and satisified prescription meets patients needs, provide treatment based on best available evidence, seek advice from supervising clinical when appropriate, refer when necessary

Make good use of resources available taking into account your responsibilities to patients and wider population
Choose sustainable solutions when possible, provided they don’t compromise care standards
