Tuckmans stages of group development
is a model that describes the five phases teams typically go through as they form and develop: forming, storming, norming, performing, and adjourning.

Get information out in the open, create awareness of differences, and and increase the number of perspectives for consideration
Negative conflict qualities
fragments the group (choosing sides, alienation)

when everyone thinks alike both in terms of process of consideration and outcome
