Larger sample sizes will give a narrower CI
The lower the CI%, the more cautious the estimate and smaller the interval, if the test statistic fits in the lower CI we can be more confident in the estimated value
How do you interpret descriptive statistics
how many participants? Most frequently reported/identified? Use %. Any didn't respond? Mean and standard deviation
How do you interpret a histogram
what type of variable? Then is it normally distributed? Bell shaped? Symmetrical or unsymmetrical?
If skewed, is it a positive or negative skew?
How do you interpret a boxplot
median differences? Interquartile range differences (at the tails)? Any outliers? Describe outlier- ID, high/low, which group?
