Abrasete

A common dance term where the girl is at the right side and holds the right arm of her partner with her left hand, keeping free hands down at the right side.

Arms in lateral position

A dance term where both arms are placed at one side, either right or left, at shoulder, chest, or waist level.

Brush

A dance term where a dancer hits the floor on one foot with the ball or heel of the other foot and lifts that foot from the floor in any direction.

Hayon-hayon

A dance term that means to place one forearm in front and the other at the back of the waist.

Jaleo

A dance term where partners turn around clockwise with right elbows almost touching, or counterclockwise with left elbows almost touching, using walking or any kind of dance step.

Kumintang

A dance term referring to the movement of moving the hand from the wrist either in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction.

Blecking

A basic dance step with the step pattern heel-place, close and a 1,2 counting.

Touch Step

A basic dance step with the step pattern point, close and a 1,2 counting.

Close Step

Hop Step

Cross Step

Change Step
