simple cuboidal

facilitate secretion and absorption, commonly found in secretory glands and kidney tubules.

simple columnar

facilitate movement along with secretion or absorption of mucus, found in the fallopian tubes

pseudostratified columnar

ciliated: found in trachea

non-ciliated: found in male reproductive

keratinizied: found in epidermis

non-keratinized: found in vagina and esophagus

transitional
