Shuv
A Hebrew word meaning Turn/Repent; specifically, to turn away from idols and injustice.
Shalom
A Hebrew word meaning healing/peace; used by prophets for comforting the suffering.
Day of the Lord
The present day when God enters human space for large-scale action, or the future end of the world involving the Final Judgement of the wicked and raising of the righteous.
Signs of the times
Daily events and happenings of the world, such as war and poverty, seen through God’s eyes and read by prophets.
1st Century Palestine Social Makeup
The societal groups consisting of Zealots, Pharisees, Sadducees, and Essenes under Roman rule.
