Human development
The process involved in the improvement of people’s freedom, rights, capabilities, choices, and material conditions
Gross development product (GDP)
The Total value of the goods and services produced by a country citizens and companies within the country in a year
Gross national product (GNP)
The Total value of the goods and services produced by a countries, citizens and companies, both domestically and internationally in a year
Gross national income (GNI)
Per capital the total value of goods and services globally produced by a country in a year divided by the country’s population
Informal sector
Is any part of a Countries economy, that is outside of their government monitoring or regulation and is not taxed.
Formal sectors
Includes businesses, enterprises, and other economic activities that have government supervision, monitoring, and protection, and are tax
Human development index (HDI)
Determines overall levels of development of countries
General development index (GDI)
Which calculates gender disparity and the three basic dimensions Of human development: health, knowledge, and standards of living. It calculates factors in which difference between women and men exist as well as where near equality is achieved.
Gender inequality index (Gll)
Calculates inequality based on three major categories: Reproductive health, empowerment, and labor market participation.
Woman’s empowerment
Includes women’s opinions and access to participate fully and the societal and economy spears of society
Labor market participation (LMP)
Rate measures in economies, active labor forces and it’s calculated by Taken the sum of all the employment workers and dividing that by that number by the work age population
Microloans
Are very small short-term loans with low interest intended to help people in need
