Argument

inductive arguments

An argument that uses specific examples or evidence to support a general conclusion that is likely true, but not guaranteed.

deductive arguments

A structured argument where the premises, if true, guarantee’s the conclusion's truth

Logical necessity

a proposition that must be true in all possible worlds and cannot be false without violating the laws of logic
