Structure: Fibers are long, cylindrical, striated, parallel, and unbranched; fibers are multinucleated with nuclei on edges
Function: moves skeleton; voluntary body movements; locomotion; hair production

Structure: cells are spindle-shaped; short, nonstriated; contain one centrally located nucleus
Function: involuntary movements and motion; moves material through internal organs
Nervous tissue
Structure: contains neurons with rounded or stellate cell bodies, axon and dendrites
