Biceps Brachii
A- elbow flexion and supination
O- (long head) supraglenoid tubercle of the scapula, (short head) coracoid process of scapula
I- radial tuberosity and antebrachial fascia
Inn- musculocutaneous nerve (sometimes radial nerve)
Brachialis
A- elbow flexion
O- anterior aspect of the humerus
I- tubersosity of ulna
Inn- musculocutaneous nerve
Coracobrachialis
A- adduct shoulder, shoulder flexion, supination
O- coracoid process of scapula
I- medial shaft of the humerus
Inn- musculocutaneous nerve
Triceps Brachii
A- extend forearm
O- (long head) infraglenoid tubercle of the scapula, (medial and lateral heads) posterior surface of the humerus above and below the radial groove
I- olecranon process of ulna
Inn- radial nerve
Blood supply- deep artery of the arm
Anconeus
A- assist extension
O- lateral epicondyle of the humerus
I- lateral surface of the olecranon and posterior surface of the proximal ulna
Inn- radial nerve
Blood- deep artery of the arm
Pronator Teres
A- pronates forearm
O- humeral head, common flexor tendon and medial supracondyle ridge, ulnar head, coronoid prcess
I- lateral radius, mid-shaft
Inn- median nerve
Blood supply- radial and ulnar arteries
Flexor Carpi Radialis
A- flexes wrist abducts (radially deviates) the hand
O- common flexor tendon
I- base of 2nd and 3rd metacarpal
Inn- median nerve
Blood supply- radial and ulnar arteries
Palmaris Longus
A- weakly flexes wrist and assists with grip
O- common flexor tendon
I- palmar aponeurosis of the hand
Inn- median nerve
Blood supply- radial and ulnar arteries
Flexor Carpi Ulnaris
A- flex wrists and adducts hand/ulnar deviation
O- common flexor tendon, ulnar head from postermedial ulna
I- pisiform, hook of hamate, base of 5th metacarpal
Inn- ulnar neve
Blood supply- radial and ulnar arteries
Brachioradialis
A- flexes elbow, particularly when forearm is neutral, weak pronation, supination
O- lateral supracondylar ridge
I- radial styloid process
Inn- radial n.
Blood supply- radial and ulnar arteries
Flexor Digitorum Superficialis
A- flexes MCPs and PIPs 2-5, wrist flexion
O- (humeroulnar head) common flexor tendon and coronoid process of ulna, (radial head) arises from the anterior surface of the radius
I- shafts of the middle phalanges of digits 2-5
Inn- median nerve
Blood supply- radial and ulnar arteries
Flexor Digitorum Profundus
A- flexes MCPs, DIPS, and PIPs 2-5
O- anteromedian surface of the ulna, the interosseous membrane
I- base of the distal phalanx of digits 2-5, after passing though the split in FDS tendons Inn- 1/2 median (radial side) and 1/2 ulnar (ulnar side) nerves
Blood supply- radial and ulnar arteries
Flexor Pollicus Longus
A- flexes 1st GNC, MCP, IP joints
O- anterior surface of radius and interosseous membrane
I- base of distal phalanx of thumb
Inn- median n.
Blood supply- radial and ulnar arteries
Pronator Quadratus
A- pronates forarm
O- medial distal forearm
I- distal radius
Inn- median nerve
Blood supply- radial and ulnar arteries
Extensor Carpi Radialis Longus
A- wrist extension and abduction
O- lateral supracondylar ridge
I- base of 2nd metacarpal
Inn- radial nerve
Blood supply- radial artery and posterior interosseus artery off ulnar artery
Extensor Carpis Radialis Brevis
A- wrist extension and abduction
O- common extensor tendon
I- base of 3rd metacarpal
Inn- radial nerve (deep branch)
Blood supply- radial artery and posterior interosseus artery off ulnar artery
Extensor Digitorum
A- extends MCPs, DIPS, PIPS of 2-5, wrist extension
O- common extensor tendon
I- through the "extensor expansion/hood" inserts on dorsal center of middle phalanx both sides of distal phalanx of digits 2-5
Inn- radial nerve (posterior interosseous n.)
Blood supply- radial artery and posterior interosseus artery off ulnar artery
Extensor Digiti Minimi
A- extends MCP, DIP, PIP of 5
O- common extensor tendon
I- extensor expansion of digit 5
Inn- radial nerve (posterior interosseous nerve)

Extensor Carpi Ulnaris
A- wrist extension and adduction
O- (humeral head) common extensor tendon, (ulnar head) posterior ulna
I- base of 5th metacarpals
Inn- radial nerve (posterior interosseuous)
Blood supply- radial artery and posterior interosseus artery off ulnar artery
Supinator
A- supination
O- (humeral head) lateral epicondyle, (ulnar head) ulna at supinator crest
I- lateral, proximal radius
Inn- radial nerve (deep branch)
Blood supply- radial artery and posterior interosseus artery off ulnar artery
Abductor Pollicis Longus
A- 1st CMC abduction
O- posterior radius, ulna, interosseuos membrane
I- base of 1st metacarpal
Inn- radial nerve (posterior interosseous n)
Blood supply- radial artery and posterior interosseus artery off ulnar artery
Extensor Pollicis Brevis
A- 1st MCP extension
O- posterior distal ulna and interosseous membrane
I- base of proximal phalanx of thumb
Inn- radial nerve
