Ejaculatory ducts

two short tubes formed by the union of the vas deferens and the seminal vesicles. They carry the sperm and fluids known collectively as semen through the prostate gland and into the urethral

Cowper's glands

The pair of small mucous glands near the male urethra.(lubrication for urethra)

epididymis

Tightly coiled tube in the scrotal sac; connects the testes with the vas or ductus deferens.

seminal vesicle

One of two saclike structures behind the bladder and connected to the vas deferens in the male individual; secretes thick, viscous fluid for semen.

vas deferens

Also called the ductus deferens; the tube that carries sperm and semen from the epididymis to the ejaculatory duct in the male body.

Bartholin's glands

Two small mucous glands near the vaginal opening. ( lubricates vagina during arousel or intercourse)

Endometrium

mucous membrane lining of the inner surface of the uterus

Fallopian tubes

Oviducts; in the female, passageway for the ova (egg) from the ovary to uterus.

Ovaries

Endocrine gland or gonad that produces hormones and the female sex cell, or ovum.

Perineum

Region between the vagina and anus in the female and between the scrotum and anus in the male.

Scrotum

double pouch containing the testes and epididymis in the male individual

Testes

Gonads or endocrine glands that are located in the scrotum of the male and that produce sperm and male hormones.

Vagina
