Odysseus was trapped inside a cave with a cyclops who ate 2 of his men. Odysseus made a plan to stab his eye then hide under his rams.

Hyacinth - hyacinths and Apollo had a competition to see who could throw the discuss the farthest and Apollo hit hyacinths and he died. Some say it was apple while others say it was Zephyr (west wind)

Adonis- everyone was involve with him. Aphrodite saw him and carried him to Persephone to take care of. Adonis would be with Aphrodite during the spring and the summer while Persephone in the fall and winter. Aphrodite died by a mighty bore.

Narcissus- every girl wanted to be his excisaly echo, who was condemned to never speak first but only to reply. He died because he was involve with himself and echo was next to him, wishing him farewell.

Cupid and Psyche story

Venus got jealous of Psyche’s worshipness and told cupid to make ppl not like her. Cupid ended up falling in love and asked Apollo to help him wed with her. They wedded and her greedy sisters told her to see what cupid looks like as she does not know who he looks like. Psyche did and cupid fled away. Psyche went to his mother’s house to apologize where she underwent rough trials. Zues turned her into a goddess the end.

Pyramus and Thisbe story

They loved each other dearly and talked to each other even though their parents forbade it. They decided to meet at a white mulberry tree, Thisbe went early and was attacked by a lioness. Pyramus arrived and saw her blood drenched cloak and killed himself. Thisbe went back and saw Pyramus and killed herself.

Orpheus and Eurydice

Orpheus had god-like singing. The day he got married she died. He ventured to the underworld to get her where Hades warned him to not look at her until she was on earth. He ventured but as soon as he was on earth, he turned around and she faded away bcs she was still in the underworld. He then died by Maenads

Ceyx and Alcyone story

Ceyx died by his journey across the sea. Alycyone was counting off the days and was praying to the gods. Morpheus came and allowed her to dream how her husband had died. She cried that she would go with him and went to the shore just to see his dead body. They then were revived and turned into a bird.

Pygmalion and Galatea story

Pygmalion said that he would never marry. He created a women whom he had fallen in love with. He prayed to Venus and she granted his statue to come to life.

Baucis and Philemon story

Jupiter and Mercury went to ask ppl if they could stay in their homes in disguise. Baucis and Philemon agreed and served the guests. They decided to catch a goose and offer it to the gods but failed. The gods granted them a wish and they wished to die together. They died and became an oak and liden tree.

Endymon story

he is a beautiful young man of whom selene kisses him every night. He sleeps forever because of the moon as she wants to find him always.

Daphine story

She was Apollo’s first love but she did not like him. Apollo chased after her then turned her into a tree, a laurel. Apollo mourned her.

Alpheys and Arethusa story summary

Arethusa was a huntress and was swimming where alpheus the river god told her he loved her. She did not want to love him but he turned into spring water and traveled through Greece to Sicily.

Phaethon story

he was the son of the sun god and asked his dad to grant him a wish. The boy asked if he could be the sun god for a day, his dad warned him about the danger but the boy did not care. As he burnt the springs and mountains then jove killed him.

Pegasus and Bellerophon story

Bellerophon was a horse guy with Poseidon being his dad. One day he asked Athena for a pegasus and his wish was granted. His trials and deeds began where he had to fight chimaera/ lion + goat + serpent. He began to be cocky and decided to go up to Olympus but pegasus refused and bellephron hated gods until he died.

Otus and ephialates story

They were twin brothers and tried to push Jupiters kingdom down. Artemis lured them into a wooded island and ended up killing eachother.

Daedalus

he designed the architect of the labyrinth for king minos. They ended up being improsoned with his son. Daedalus made 2 pairs of wings and warned his son not to fly to close to the son, his son did not care and he died.

story of Midas

Midas was a stupid king who chose pan’s music over Apollo’s causing Apollo to change his ears into a donkeys ears. Later on, townsfolk found out and mocked him for it.

Sisyphus myth

He was the king of corinthian where zeus took away aegina (river gods daughter) in corinthian. Sisyphus offered information in exchange for water in their drought. The river god confronted Zeus and told death to get him. Death arrived where sisyphus put cuffs on her, causing nth to die with no war. Sisyphus told his wife to not bury him, then he died. He went to hades and asked for 3 days to sort things out because his body was not buried yet. 3 days past and he did not come back, causing zeus to send Hermes to take his soul and burry him. He is infinitely pushing a rock up a step hill and rolling it down.
