What is the process that urine takes through the nephrons?

  1. Blood gets filtered in the glomerulus and filtrate is taken into the bowman’s capsule

  2. The remains are then moved through the proximal convoluted tubule where glucose and amino acids are reabsorbed

  3. Moves down the loop of henle, reabsorbing water

  4. Moves up the loop of henle, reabsorbing ions within the urine via special protein channels

  5. The remains go through the distal convoluted tubules and into the collecting ducts where more water is reabsorbed

  6. What is left is urine, going through the ureter
