What is the function of the right atrium?

What is the pathway of deoxygenated blood from the body to the lungs?
Deoxygenated blood enters the right atrium via the superior and inferior vena cava, moves to the right ventricle, and is pumped through the pulmonary valve into the pulmonary artery.
What is the aorta's function?
Carries oxygenated blood to all parts of the body.
What is a myocardial infarction (MI)?
A localized area of necrotic tissue in the heart caused by occlusion of a coronary artery.
What is ischemia?
Reduced blood flow to the heart, preventing the heart muscle from receiving enough oxygen.

Angina at rest, new-onset exertional angina, and intensification of existing angina.

They decrease heart rate and contractility, reducing heart workload and oxygen demand.
What is the purpose of antiplatelet therapy?
To prevent blood clot formation in patients with coronary artery disease.
