MPS purpose

Cleans, rinses, disinfects, removes protein deposits, and stores SCL.

AOsept h2o2 steps 6

1) Wash hands thoroughly with soap

2) Fill lens case up to the line with AOsept solution

3) Place lenses into lens holder & tighten the lid

4) Observe bubbles & leave lens to soak for at least 6h or overnight

5) Rinse lens with saline prior to insertion

6) Rinse lense case with saline & airdry

Oxysept H2O2 Steps 7

1) Wash hands thoroughly with soap

2) Fill lens case with Oxysept solution up to the line

3) Place lenses in the holder, drop a neutralising tablet and tighten the lid

4) Observe bubbles & allow lenses to soak for at least 6 hours or overnight

5) Check if solution turned pink

6) Rinse lenses with saline before insertion

7) Rinse lens case with saline and let it air dry.

H2O2 Purpose

Cleaning and disinfection, especially for those prone to deposits or sensitivities to MPS ingredients.

Enzymatic Cleaner Purpose

To break down and remove protein deposits that accumulate on the lens surface, which can reduce comfort and clarity.

Enzymatic Cleaner Steps

Enzymatic cleaner tablets are typically added to Multipurpose Solution (MPS) or a hydrogen peroxide system, and lenses are soaked overnight to dissolve protein deposits.

Surfactant Cleaner Steps

For daily surfactant cleaners like Disop Cleaner or Optesol Cleaner, apply the cleaner to each side of the lens, gently rub to remove deposits, then rinse thoroughly before placing lenses in Multipurpose Solution (MPS) for soaking.

Surfactant Cleaner Purpose

To remove daily accumulation of deposits and debris from the lens surface before the disinfection step with Multipurpose Solution (MPS).

MPS steps

1) Wash hands thoroughly with soap

2) Place 2-3 drops of MPS on each side of lens, rub for 20s

3) Rinse each side of lens for 5s

4) Place lens in lens case with FRESH MPS solution

5) Soak for at least 6h or overnight

6) Rinse with MPS or Saline before insertion
