Lina Swivel Chair

“I think ‘flow’ is a good word for it,” says designer Hlynur Atlason when asked to describe his Lína Swivel Chair (2018) in one word. “Because of the way the shapes come together as one, and how they play off each other.” Born in Iceland, Hlynur studied at Parsons in New York, where he continues to live today. The Lína Swivel Chair began with his desire to create a chair as one solid form. The result is both clean and complex, with no straight lines, and curves that are continuously changing trajectory. “It’s a sculpted shape that one can enjoy examining,” he says. Icelandic for “line,” Lína “embraces you with all the softness on the inside.” Made in Italy.

Flight Recliner

When we challenged Bernett and Nicholas Dodziuk to create a recliner that didn’t look like a recliner, they took us on willingly. Armed with experience designing ergonomic in-flight seating for private jets, Bernett knew how to create a comfortable chair with none of the bulkiness or macho pretense of a traditional recliner. Sleek and streamlined, the Flight Recliner (2005) is expertly upholstered with very few seams to suit its clean look.

Nora Lounge Chair

The two designers behind Norm Architects have a distinct approach to work, a method they dub “soft minimalism”: First they take away as many details as they can, then they add back just enough to give a design the life it needs. The groove in the seat back of the Nora Lounge Chair (2019) is such a detail, lending character but also serving as a way to bind the upholstery to the frame. A comfortable, embracing chair, Nora’s inspiration derives from the traditional wing chair. Made in Italy.

Soffi Swivel Chair

Comfort comes full circle in the Soffi Swivel Chair (2023), the first upholstery design by Gabriel Tan. With an eye to balancing sleek and soft, Tan took inspiration from the friendly, expressive shapes of inflatable furniture from the ’60s and ’70s, but in a luxe reinterpretation. “I wanted to design something soft and voluminous that gives an emotional feeling of comfort and protection,” says the designer. Made in Italy.

Line Credenza (also available in small, console and bar)

Designer Nathan Yong creates pieces that project quiet elegance, for which he credits hectic city living. “My work is a reflection of my yearning for nature in this concrete jungle,” he says. The Line Collection (2012) is distinguished by horizontal lines that lend a sense of restfulness. This louvered design also serves a purpose on applicable units, allowing remotes to control devices inside. Line brings order to electronics, barware, tableware, and even office supplies. Made in Malaysia.

Edel Credenza (available in 2 sizes and 3 finishes) (also available as bar)

Scandinavian design language meets cutting-edge 3-D molding technology in the Edel Credenza (2018). Easy-to-live-with forms speak quietly but offer hidden delights in use. “We made Edel attractive,” explain the designers, “but the love for it comes when you start interacting with it. When you see how the doors slide across and everything’s fluid.” Unit has space for routing cords behind the adjustable shelves. Cords exit through bottom of cabinet for an unobstructed back. Made in Slovenia.

Matera Media Unit (available in 2 sizes and 2 finishes)
The Matera Media Unit (2024) is a beautifully crafted yet functional addition to designer Sean Yoo’s popular Matera collection, conceived when he was living in Matera, Italy. The multifunctional cabinet features a solid oak or walnut frame. Its spacious shelves and handle-free, soft-closing drawers are seamlessly veneered in a running match-wood grain. Beveled edges and exposed-slot mortise-and-tenon corner joints complete its clean profile; a sled base lends an airy feel. Choose from two sizes: the 60" with three drawers, or the 80" with four. Space for routing cords to exit through the base is included. Made in Malaysia.

Loop Credenza (also available as media unit)

Lightness meets durability in the distinctive Loop Credenza (2024), a DWR exclusive. Rotterdam-based designer Rachel Griffin achieved the airy look with slight proportions, “stepped back” edging and a slim metal base. Two doors and four sizable drawers tackle storage, while cable holes at the back of each shelf and the bottom keep wires tidy. A sleek addition to any contemporary space, Loop’s fully finished back allows for easy placement wherever storage is needed. Made in Estonia.

Raleigh Credenza (available in 2 sizes and 2 finishes) (also available as media unnit)

With expansive wood uninterrupted by hardware, the Raleigh Credenza (2024) is a midcentury-inspired storage solution for dining or living areas. Its drawers, doors, and legs are beautifully crafted from solid wood with an expertly veneered top in oak or walnut. “The result is warm and inviting,” says designer Jeffrey Bernett. Choose from two sizes: the 58" credenza features four drawers and four doors, or the 72" credenza features two drawers and four doors. Both include adjustable shelves, soft-closing drawers, and space for routing cords to seamlessly exit. Made in the U.S.A.

Morrison Credenza (available in 2 sizes, 3 finishes and 2 tops) (also available as media unit)

Designed by the all-female trio Egg Collective, the Morrison Credenza (2012) is a modern interpretation of classic casegoods. The multifunctional wooden cabinet features four soft-close doors, four adjustable shelves, and two cord escapes. Its smaller scale allows it to fit in tight spaces, while its heirloom-quality details, including a marble top and solid brass knobs, make this sideboard worthy of center stage. Part of the Morrison storage collection. Made in Canada.

Paku Paku Dining Table (available in 2 sizes and 3 tops)

The Paku Paku Dining Table (2025) from WeShouldDoItAll (WSDIA) explores the balance between solidity and grace. A 10mm tempered glass top with a softly frosted underside is bolstered by a steel frame with visible supports that create the illusion of weightlessness. The materials create a beautiful paradox: the refined transparency of glass meets the honest brutality of textured concrete legs, while the supports celebrate the points where the two materials connect for a table that appears to float. The table seats four to six (75") or six to eight (95"). DWR exclusive. Made in Poland.

Pinna Dining Table (available in 2 shapes, 2 sizes, 2 finishes and 3 tops)

In the Pinna Dining Table (2025), multidisciplinary designer Susan Clark explores nature’s quiet rhythms through form and material. Inspired by fenestration, its sculpted wood base lets light slip gracefully through a slim opening, supporting a high-honed stone top that reveals natural striations. Founder of the NYC-based design studio Radnor, Clark is celebrated for bridging art, design, and craft through a materials-driven approach grounded in traditional handiwork.

Pinna Dining Table seats four (48"), six (60" and 75"), or eight (90"). DWR exclusive. Assembled in the USA with globally sourced materials.

Edel Table (available in 3 sizes and 3 finishes)

The Edel Table (2020) is designed for today’s changing world, where the dining table is also used as a desk, classroom, and more. It’s the work of Norway-based Thomas Jenkins and Sverre Uhnger, who bring Scandinavian design language together with new technologies to create pieces that speak quietly but offer hidden delights once in use. Each table has at least one locking drawer accessible via solid brass key and a concealed system for cord routing. The mini version features a single locking drawer with center divider and rear cord channel, and the standard and grand versions feature three drawers on each side (center drawers lock) with central cord channels. Use the mini as a desk for one or table for two, the standard as a desk for two or table for six, and the grand as an executive desk for two, a shared workstation, or a table for eight. Made in Turkey.

Kaya Teak Dining Table

The Kayu Teak Dining Table (2009) is a combination of straightforward design and robust natural wood. Crafted of solid planks of teak, these pieces are left unfinished – sanding is the only processing done to this wood – to allow the natural oils to come through and create an inviting patina that requires very little maintenance, just soap and water. It’s crafted from Indonesian teak harvested from strictly managed plantations, ensuring the wood’s sustainable origins. Made in Indonesia.

Matera Extension Dining Table

Designed by Sean Yoo for Design Within Reach, the Matera Extension Table (2023) features clean lines, beveled edges, and slotted mortise-and-tenon corner joints in its beautifully crafted, solid wood frame with an open and airy sled base. It comes with two leaves, which are stored in a hidden compartment under the tabletop when not in use. Yoo credits Isamu Noguchi for inspiring his career in design. “I was particularly attracted to the way Noguchi applied sculptural qualities to common household items. It seemed to give meaning and purpose to otherwise meaningless objects,” he says. Made in Poland.

Risom Low Table (available in 2 finishes)

The Risom Low Table (1942), launched in 2021 as an homage to the designer, is a testament to Jens Risom’s role as a pioneer in bringing modern Danish design to America. Based on his original sketches dating back decades, the Low Table features a two-tiered design that doubles the surface space for books, remotes, and other accessories. Made in Estonia.

Risom T.301 Hexagon Coffee Table (available in 2 finishes)

Celebrating the beauty of natural materials, Jens Risom toyed with convention by using leather itself as a structural element for his T.301 Coffee Table (1958), stretching it to form a suspended lower shelf. Being a natural material, the leather will develop a beautiful patina over time. However, to keep the leather on this table taut and prevent marking, it’s recommended that you use the lower shelf to hold lightweight objects weighing less than 8 pounds. Made in Poland.

Edge Coffee Table

In creating his Edge Table (2017), Gabriel Tan was inspired by wooden trays and plates, always exploring the boundary between craft traditions and technology. Made of solid walnut, this table has a subtle raised edge that’s visually pleasing and functional in preventing objects from rolling off. Made in Malaysia.

Symbol Coffee Table (available in 2 finishes)

A celebration of time-tested joinery techniques and the beauty of solid wood, the Symbol Coffee Table (2020) is a sculptural form designed to be enjoyed for generations. Intersecting geometric shapes – including arcs, planes, and cylinders – come together without the use of any screws, showcasing the durability and beauty of exposed dovetail and mortise-and-tenon joints. The honest expression of these construction methods furthers the attractive, timeless appearance of this table. To create the curved legs, designer Cody Campanie turned to the craft tradition of coopering (barrel making), resulting in graceful faceted shapes that catch light and create beautiful shadows. Made in Poland.

Atlason Organic Slab Coffee Table (available in 2 shapes and 2 finishes)

Designed by Hlynur Atlason in collaboration with DWR, its oblong form complements any composition, curved sofas included. The marble surface – hand-selected from an Italian quarry, no two slabs alike – is like "looking at a painting that you can sort of lose yourself in." T.710 Small Side Table (available in 2 finishes)

Risom introduced his T.710 Small Side Table (1950) at a time when he was experimenting with metal. He was fascinated by the negative space the table defines between its base and top and by the illusion of floating the top creates. This table is perfect for tight areas due to its compact size and small footprint. Stacks up to three high. Made in Malaysia.

Hew Side Table (available in 3 styles and 2 finishes)

The Hew Side Table is a celebration of organic shapes inspired by the forest. Designer Pat Kim has created a family of whimsical forms that each have a distinct personality. Working out of his Brooklyn studio, Kim is enchanted with the lathe and the shapes it encourages. “I’ll often take a bunch of wood scraps and start turning them just for form exploration,” he says. The Hew Side Table (2018) derived from those musings. “With wood, I get to basically play all the time.” Made in Poland.

Risom T.303 Side Table (available in 2 finishes)

Because of the quality of the material and the large number of colored concrete chips, the patterns are random and yet beautifully balanced. • Designer Jeffrey Bernett was being a bit cheeky with the name of his Parallel Bed (2013), given that it features a headboard shaped more like a trapezoid.
