What are the main sequence of things you need to cover for alarms ?
Alarm Pause
Audio pause
Alarm set
Combination alarm
iAlarm
Crozfusion
What is alarm pause?
Temporarily pauses alarm notifications for a set period.
Audio Pause
Temporarily silences the audible alarm while visual alarm indicators remain active.
Alarm Set
Allows clinicians to adjust alarm limits and settings for individual parameters.
Combination Alarm
Combines multiple related parameter abnormalities into a more meaningful alarm condition.
The clinical benefit here is that it gives clinicians more clinical context and can reduce multiple separate alarms occurring at the same time.
What is iAlarm ?
Mindray’s intelligent alarm-management technology that analyses multiple parameters and alarm conditions together. It Uses that patient information to make alarms smarter by combining and prioritising related alarms.
Benefit: Helps prioritise clinically meaningful alarms and reduce unnecessary alarm burden.
What is Crozfusion?
Mindray technology that combines information from different physiological signals to improve monitoring reliability. Crozfusion Cross-checks different patient signals, like ECG and SpO₂, to help work out whether a change is real or just artefact.
Benefit: Cross-checking multiple signals can help reduce false alarms and provide greater confidence that a detected change is clinically real.
What is the difference between iAlarm and Crozfusion?
iAlarm™ = smarter alarm interpretation
CrozFusion™ = smarter use of multiple signals together
