reasoning, problem solving, planning etc. intelligence test score of 65 to 75 is below average functioning

Deficits in adaptive functioning on developmental and sociocultural standards of independence and responsibility

deficits multiple environments in at least one: communication, social participation, or independent living

Symptoms during developmental period

severe deficits can be observed within the first two years of life and mild deficits may be more noticeable during school age
