How did experiences with British influence AOC?

The taxes and too much control lead to the US ensuring the government wasn’t too strong

How did Shays’ rebellion effect the AOC?

People questioned if the US can govern, some thought they should get rid of the AOC

Armed men formed blockades around courthouses to keep judges from issuing foreclosures

Purpose was to get anti-federalists to approve ratification of the Constitution

Whiskey Rebellion

Got mad about taxes on whiskey, rebelled but GW intervened and put it to an end (more govt control)

Federalist

Wants to ratify constitution and have a strong federal government (Hamilton)

Anti-federalist

Opposes constitution ratification, wanted weak federal government (Jefferson)
