Paleolithic age

"Old Stone Age” A period of time from prehistory that lasted from about 2.5 million years ago to around 10,000 BCE. This time. Period ended with the invention of complex tools.

Hunter gatherer

A person that hunted animals and gathered plants to eat in order to stay alive.

Neolithic Age

“New Stone Age” A period of time from about 10,000 - 4,500 BCE. It started with the invention of farming.

Civilization

A society that has- food for its people different types of jobs government social levels and a culture.

Nomad

A person who does not live in one place. They move to different places with their animals when seasons change to find water and food for their animals.

Agriculture

Growing crops and raising animals to use as food.

Domestication

Making animals more useful to humans.

Surplus

Having to much of something.

Scarcity

Not having enough of something.
