VO2 Max
The maximal amount of oxygen consumed per kilogram of body weight per minute
Maximal Heart Rate
Can allow athletes to work within a certain percentage of their max heart rate. (Can use Tanaka Formula)
Heart Rate Reserve
(Karvonen method) establishing a client’s heart rate based on the difference between their estimated HR max and resting heart rate
Rating of Perceived Exertion
1-10 scale and 6-20 scale

The ability to speak during activity can identify exercise intensity and ventilatory threshold
