Partition of Bengal
The act of dividing the Bengal province in 1905, proposed by Viceroy Lord Curzon.
Lord Curzon
The British Viceroy of India who proposed the partition of Bengal in 1903.
East Bengal
The newly formed province from the partition, primarily Muslim-majority region.
