Electronegativity of Groups IA and IIA
The elements of these two groups have low electronegativity.
Group IA Outer Shells
The outer shells of all the elements in group IA have one electron.
Group IIA Outer Shells
The outer shells of the elements in group IIA have two electrons.
Reactivity Constraint
Because of their reactivity they cannot occur in the free form in nature.
