- a round wire spring attached to the handle, the size of which fits the top of a shaker or a mixing glass. It is used to retain or separate narrow openings.
Bar strainer
- a hand size gadget used to squeeze half of a lemon or orange at the same time straining the juice to remove pulps and pits
fruit squeezer
- a combination of a mixing glass and a stainless steel container which is used to shake drink ingredients together with ice as they are mixed.
hand shaker
- used to measure out liquors for cocktails and other mixed drinks. Equivalent to a shot
jigger
- A heavy glass container in which drink ingredients are stirred together.
Mixing Glass
- a wooden tool with a flat end used for crushing one substance into another
muddler
- used for transferring mixtures to containers with narrow openings.
funnel
- a device that fits into the neck of a beverage bottle. It is constructed that the rate of flow of the drinks from the bottle is controlled.
pourer
- a 25 cm thin, two-tined fork made of stainless steel used to pick up small items such as pickles, cherries and olives from a narrowmouthed bottle.
relish fork
- An electric device with sharp blades at the bottom of a jar used to chop, mix, or liquefy food and ice.
blender
- a small or medium-sized stainless steel knife to make the finished product look neat and appealing
bar knife
- any surface over which fruits and other food items are cut. It is usually made of rubber or plastic so that no particles of food may stick to the surface after washing.
cutting board
- also called router. It is a special cutting tool for making lemon twists.
zester
- used to remove corks from the lid of the bottle.
corkscrew
- used for serving drinks. It must be provided with cork surfaces to prevent glasses from slipping as they are served.
2. Round serving tray
- used to present the bill to the guest and to hold the guest’s payment, credit card or tip.
