Spanish Stress Rule 1 (Ends in Vowel, N, or S)

If a word in Spanish ends in a vowel, 'n', or 's', the second-to-last syllable (vorletzte Silbe) receives the spoken stress/emphasis, as seen in Ca-sa.

Spanish Stress Rule 2 (Ends in Other Consonants)

If a word in Spanish ends in any consonant other than 'n' or 's', the last syllable (letzte Silbe) receives the spoken stress/emphasis.
