What is an ONT?
An ONT, or Optical Network Terminal, converts the fiber optic light signal into an electrical signal that the customer's router and devices can use."

What is fiber splicing?
Splicing is joining two fiber cables together so the signal can continue through the connection."
Why do fiber connectors need to be clean?

What is signal loss?
Signal loss is when the light signal becomes weaker as it travels through the fiber."
