Green (what is the play call? what do nickle and Strong cover? what do strong and nickel call?)
(Green like grass point at grass and say “were here-were here-were here”)Man-to-man zones. Meaning line up with player but you have zones. Nickle (has side WITH running back) and Strong (has the side withOUT the running back) call “out-out-out” if player runs to outside. Corner either calls “lock-lock-lock” or “in-in-in”. If they call “lock” you stay with your person. If they call “in” then you take over their player and they take over yours (player swap). Eyes are 2-1

Blue (what is the play call? what do nickle and Strong cover? what do strong and nickel call?)
(Blue like eyes point at your eyes and say “were here-were here-were here”) Zone coverage. Nickle lines up in-between 2 and center (just inside 2). (Has the side withOUT the running back). Nickle has middle flats area. (Back peddle at a sparpish angle towards center). Nickle typically has short routes or runs. (Eyes 2-1 but watching anything that comes in zone.) Strong lines up in-between 2 and center (just inside 2). (Has the side WITH the running back). Strong has the upper flats split with free. (Back peddle at an angle for 7 yards/steps then cover that side of the upper flats). Strong typically has long routes. (Looking for long routes eyes 2-1 but everywhere)

Navy (what is the play call? what do nickle and Strong cover? what do strong and nickel call?)
(Navy blue like eyes point at your eyes and say "were here-were here-were here") Zone coverage. Nickle lines up inbetween 2 and center. Nickle has the middle (hash to hash from center to about 13 yards deep). (Back peddle at sharp angle to get in front of center). (Has the side withOUT the running back). Eyes anywhere in the zone. Strong lines up inbetween 2 and center. (Has the side WITH the running back). Strong has upper flats (from opposite hash to sideline) (opposite hash meaning the hash closer to free side). (Back peddle at an angle about 7 yards/steps). (Eyes anywhere in the zone).

Red adjustments to trips (what is the play call? what do nickle and Strong cover? what do strong and nickel call?)
(Red like blood point at veins and say "were here-were here-were here") Zone coverage. Nickle in adjustments for trips lines up between the running back and the center (almost behind the rusher but slightly closer to the center). (Has the side WITH the running back). Nickle has the middle flats (from just out side hash to hash up to 10 yards back). Nickle comes forward to cover the center and has anything in the middle flats. (Eyes center-3 but anywhere in zone). Strong in adjustments for trips lines up inbetween 3 and 2. (Has the side withOUT the running back). Strong has the flats where the trips are (3 recievers on one side (trips like triplets)). (Eyes go 2-1). (RICCI NOTE: eyes go 2-1 but there are times when the 3 is the only one to go into the flats so it’s important to slow play the hook curl to flats and watch for anyone that comes into your zone)

Red (what is the play call? what do nickle and Strong cover? what do strong and nickel call?)
(Red like blood point to veins and say "were here-were here-were here") Zone Coverage. Nickle lines up between the 2 and the center (closer to the hash and the 2). (Has the side withOUT the running back). Nickle has the flats (up to 10 yards). Call "out-out-out" if player runs to the outside. Corner will call "in-in-in" or "lock-lock-lock". Strong lines up between the 2 and the running back (closer to the hash and the 2). (Has the side WITH the running back). Strong has the flats (up to 10 yards). Call "out-out-out" if player runs to the outside. Corner will call "in-in-in" or "lock-lock-lock". If they call “lock” you stay with your person. If they call “in” then you take over their player and they take over yours (player swap). Eyes 2-1

(Black like black panther cross your arms like black panther and say "were here-were here-were here") Man-to-Man coverage. Nickle lines up 5 yards from 2 (has the side withOUT the running back) and stays with 2 the whole time. Strong lines up 5 yards from 2 (has the side WITH the running back) and stays with the 2 the whole time.
