Booster seats and belt-positioning seats
Designed to elevate or position a child so as to allow them to be safely secured with a seat belt.

Stop sign procedure
Come to a full stop behind the stop sign, crosswalk, or stop line; give right-of-way to pedestrians and cross traffic before moving forward.
Yield sign procedure
Slow down, give the right-of-way to pedestrians and through traffic; check in all directions for cross traffic before entering the intersection.
Regulatory signs
Rectangular signs with a white background that inform you of traffic laws and regulations.
Warning signs
Yellow, diamond-shaped signs with black letters and symbols that tell the driver there are special conditions or hazards ahead.
Railroad crossing signs
Warns driver of the need to slow down and possibly stop for a train.
Red light (traffic signal)
Means STOP. Drivers must come to a complete stop before they reach the intersection.
Yellow light (traffic signal)
Means CAUTION. A steady yellow light is a warning that the light will be turning red.
Walk signal
Pedestrians facing the signal may proceed to cross the roadway in the direction of the signal and must be given the right-of-way by all vehicles.
Don't Walk signal
A pedestrian may not proceed across the roadway. A pedestrian who entered the roadway lawfully may continue to cross the roadway, but must proceed to a curb, sidewalk, safety zone, or other place of safety.
