Heather: Someone should be with you

Someone will be with me. Mark said he’d be here

Kara: uh huh

He did he said he’d meet me here at 2 o’clock he’s just a little late

Kara: then where is he hung? Tell me why are we sitting here with Gianna in front of a clinic and Mark is nowhere to be seen? Why is that?

He’s coming. He wouldn’t just leave me. He cares about me. He said he loved me.

Heather: what is it Kara? Is being dumb and awful your hobby? Is it like how other people collect stamps? Tell me…

Both of you please! That’s enough. I’m under enough stream without you two fighting

Kara: well whose fault is that? I can’t believe you slept with Mark. You’re 18 years old.

I’m 19

Kara: yeah like get pregnant. Pregnant and alone.

I’m not alone. Mark will be here

Heather: why are you doing this?

You can be so vicious sometimes Tiara. So mean. You’re just jealous because a guy like Mark wants to be with me. Me a little nobody college freshman and he’s with me

Kara: kit real I’ve known the guy since I was a kid. He’s my brother‘s best friend. And I know for a fact he won’t be showing up in a while or ever.

Kara: did he? Did he say he’d be here?

I told him my appointment was for two thirty

Kara: it’s two forty-five now

He’s a little late.

Kara: but did he actually say he’d be here? Or did you just hear what you wanted to hear?

He’ll be here. He wouldn’t leave me alone like this. He wouldn’t.

Kara: like I would want one of those losers to come near me. Ron is the only halfway decent guy among them and he’s got a girlfriend. The others are just jerks and Mark is the biggest one. Face it he used you abuse you and now he’s losing you.

Kara: Janna he’s gone.

Gone? What do you mean gone?

Kara: come on Heather my brother went with them. Janna he’s not coming today.

Kara: believe it, honey he’s not going to be here for you today or ever

What am I going to do?

Kara: what did you think you’d do?

I don’t know. I guess I hoped… Well…

Heather: but he said he loved her

he did. He told me he loved me. People don’t say that without meaning it

Heather: but this is different if she’s going to have a baby I mean that’s gotta stand for something. It’s a bond.

He’ll see that. I mean, if I am pregnant. Then we are bonded together in a way that can never be torn apart

Heather: well they’ll get married and live with his parents for a while save their money and then get their own house. He’ll get a job and make enough money so you can stay home with the baby then after a while you’ll have a little brother or sister Mark will love you and the kids and everything will be terrific

it will won’t it? His mom and dad like me and then when we move out it, it will be perfect.

Kara: hello we’re talking about Mark Avery the same Mark who scams with as many girls as he can at every stag dance. Do you really think he’s going to give that up?

Kara: this is not to be believed quit reading into his. I love you. There’s nothing in it. He’s not going to marry you now or ever he’s just graduating from college. He’s going to the military. I can tell you right now. He will not give that up for some little girl in trouble and do you really believe his parents will welcome you into their home if Mark marries you he hast to give that up. I’m sure having their son married with a pregnant girl for a wife is their idea of heaven wake up quit being so stupid. Listen to reality
