Electromagnetic force
A force that occurs between electrically charged objects.
Motion
The change in position of an object over time, measured by speed and direction.
Force
A push or pull of an object that can start, stop, or change an object's motion and results from an object's interaction with another object.
Balanced forces
Forces that result in no change in an object's motion.
Unbalanced forces
Forces that cause an object's motion to change.
Law of Inertia
The law stating that an object's resistance to changes in the state of its motion is directly proportional to mass.
Law of aceleration
The law stating that how an object slows or accelerates is directly proportional to the net force acting on it and inversely proportional to mass.
Law of Interaction
The law stating that in every action, there is an equal but oppositely directed action.
Pulling (Hila)
A force you exert to move an object more closer toward you.
Pushing (Tulak)
The opposite of pulling, which is to move an object away from you.
Contact forces
A category of motion where objects physically interact, such as dribbling a basketball, kicking a soccerball, or hitting the shuttle cock.
Non Contact forces
A category of motion involving objects that do not touch, such as a falling apple from a tree, metal nails and a magnet, or a comb and paper reaction.
Friction
A contact force that acts as a resistive force when two surfaces have contact on each other.
Tension
A contact pulling force transmitted through a string and pulled tight by forces acting from opposite ends.
Normal force
A contact support force that occurs when an object is in contact with another stable surface.
magnetic force
A non contact force that attracts or repells objects.
Gravitational Force
A non contact force that attracts objects to itself.
