Glutamate
Excitatory Transmitter that “turns on” many different neurons, leading to action. Responsible for learning and memory.

Both inhibitory and Excitatory. It regulates our behavior, mood, and thought processes.
Dopamine
Both inhibitory and Excitatory. It has been implicated in the pathophysiology of schizophrenia and disorders of addiction. (Too Much __)
Reuptake
action by which a neurotransmitter is quickly drawn back into the discharging neuron after being released into the synaptic cleft.
Excitatory Neurotransmitters

Inhibitory Neurotransmitters
Suppressing and causing inhibition/reducing nerve impulses
