A 3-picture art interview developed by Cohen and Lesowitz consisting of Free Draw, Tree, and Emotion drawings to assess response to structured and unstructured tasks.
Draw-A-Story (DAS)
An assessment developed by Rawley Silver where the client chooses two images from a provided pack and creates a drawing that tells a story, evaluating cognitive and emotional functioning.
Face Stimulus Assessment (FSA)
An assessment created by Donna Betts comprising 3 drawings (pre-drawn face, outline of face, blank paper) used to evaluate communication, cognitive functioning, and self-expression.
Family Art Evaluation
A 6-drawing evaluation procedure developed by Hana Kwiatkowska including Free Drawing, Family Portrait, Abstract Family Portrait, Scribble Drawing, Joint Family Scribble, and Free Drawing.
Levick Emotional and Cognitive Evaluation and Assessment Method (LECATA)
An assessment developed by Myra Levick featuring 5 drawing tasks to evaluate therapeutic needs, strengths, weaknesses, and defense mechanisms in children.
Silver Drawing Test (SDT)
An assessment developed by Rawley Silver consisting of Predictive Drawing, Observation Drawing, and Imagination Drawing subtests to assess cognitive, developmental, and emotional functioning.
Uhlman Personality Assessment Procedure (U-PAP)
An assessment consisting of 4 drawings (Free Picture, Recreating Motion, Scribble, Picture from Scribble) completed in a single session using chalk pastels on grey paper.
Ellis' ABC Theory
A Cognitive Behavioral Therapy concept where A is the Activating event, B is the Belief, and C is the Consequence.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
A modified form of CBT created by Marsha Linehan to treat Borderline Personality Disorder through four skills areas: Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness.
