Rigid body
The body whose shape & size doesn't change under the action of forces.
Translational motion
The motion in which all the particles of a rigid body move with the same velocity at any instant of time.
Rotational motion
The motion in which all the particles of a rigid body move in a circular path about a fixed axis, where the circle lies in a plane perpendicular to the axis and has its centre on the axis.
Centre of mass
The point at which the whole mass of a body is supposed to be concentrated.
