Photograph of the over-all scene. It will depict the location of the crime
Mid range view
Shows the nature of the crime
Close up view
Shoes the details of the crime
Crime scene sketch
It is the graphic representation of the scene of the crime with complete measurements of the relative distance of relevant object and conditions obtaining therein
Rough sketch
It is made by the investigator at the crime scene which is full of important details but without scale of proportion
Finished sketch
Is often drawn by a draftsman to show proper relationship and scaled the finished sketch is more presentable for court room presentation
Sketch of ground/floor plan/overview
Sketch picture of the scene of the crime with it's nearest physical surrounding
Sketch of locality/ neighborhood sketch
Give picture of the scene, the crime and it's environs, including neighboring building, road etc.

Exploded/cross projection
Gives the clear impression of the scene in cases where blood staind or bullet holes are found
Strip or line search method
The three (3) searcher a,b,c proceed slowly at the same place along the path parallel to one side of the rectangle
Double strip or grid method
Is a modification of the strip search and Is useful for large crime scene, particularly out door scenes
Spiral/circular/concentric method
The searcher will follow each other in the path of a spiral, beginning in the outside and spiraling toward the center of vice versa in a clockwise or counterclockwise directon
Zone/quadrant/sector search method
The area to be searched is divided into four quadrants and each serchesf assigned to one wuadrant
Wheel search method/pie, radial or some method
Is applicable for area which is considered to be approximately circular or oval. The area Is then divided into six quadrant
