Archimedes' Principle
An object submerged in a fluid experiences a buoyant force equal to the weight of the fluid it displaces.
Buoyant Force
The upward force exerted by a fluid on an object placed in it, acting against gravity.
Displacement
The volume of fluid pushed aside when an object is placed in it.
Apparent Weight Loss in Water
The reduction in the effect of gravity on an object in water due to the buoyant force acting on it.

Floating Object Condition
