Anthropology
It is the study of humans and all aspects of its being including its origin.
Derived from the Greek word Anthropos means human and logos as study of.
Physical or Biological Anthropology
studies the evolutionary origins of humans. it uses concepts in biology and culture to explain how humans adapt and continuously evolve.
Anthropological Linguistics
documents the structure, use, and acquisition of language. it explains how language influences the way people think or is used in the transmission of culture
Archaeology
studies human cultures through the remains and artifacts in the past. it explains the relationship between artifacts and the present and future of society.
Cultural Anthropology
studies the patterns of societies, and its beliefs, practices, and behavior across cultures. It explores the history of cultures around the world. It focuses on identifying the differences/commonalities of human societies .

is a form of research that involves long-term participation while observing the daily lives and activities of people. It reflects the goal for holism - the practice to understand as many as possible cultural aspects and contexts.
