Small Talk
Can be very beneficial for personal and professional interactions. Can provide value for the goal you set for yourself. EX. Tell me about yourself?, How long have you worked here? How do you know the bride? Opened questions allows for the conversation to continue.
Job Interview
Research about the job, corportation. Find out if possible who is going to interview you. Know the answer to Tell us about yourself question? Consider your background and how it connects for the job. EX. Teacher position- I wanted to be a teacher since i was a child and i love playing teacher as a child I used my chalkboard all the time and i believe that is what sparked my desire to teach. Thank you for interviewing me for this position.
Feedback
Seek Feedback, Provide Feedback to others, Follow formula of Glow and Grow. Start with positive (GLOW) you are doing a wonderful job. Follow with a (GROW)Area where they might need to address or consider. I want to encourage you to try this and see if it changes the outcome. Feedback allows us to lift each other up.
