The part of an experiment that contains the variable that is being tested.

Dependent Variable

The outcome variable measured in an experiment, such as Grade (%) in the study time experiment.

Independent Variable

The variable being manipulated or changed in an experiment, such as Study Time (hours) in the chemistry grade experiment.
