mRNA
Carries instructions for building a polypeptide, from gene in DNA to ribosomes in cytoplasm, and is the RNA that is fed through the ribosome.
tRNA
Binds to amino acids and pairs with bases of codons of mRNA at ribosome to begin process of protein synthesis; responsible for transporting the amino-acid to the ribosome.
rRNA
Structural component of ribosomes; responsible for the formation of the ribosome itself.
