What is galactose?
A 6 sided molecule and a monosaccharide with the chemical formula of C₆H₁₂O₆

What is lactose?
A disaccharide made up of glucose and galactose held together by a glycosidic bond(𝛽-1, 4-glycosidic), it has the chemical formula of C₁₂H₂₂O₁₁

What is glycogen?
Animals only. Similar to amylopecting but more branches with 1-6 bonds. Polysaccharide C₆H₁₀O₅(per unit)

What is maltose?
Glucose + Glucose. Disaccharide ,C₁₂H₂₂O₁₁, α(1-4) glycosidic bond.

What is ribose?
5 sided monosaccharide with the chemical formula C₅H₁₀O₅.

What is sucrose?
Glucose + fructose, dissacharide held by a glycosidic bond α-1, 𝛽-2- glycosidic bond, C₁₂H₂₂O₁₁.

What is cellulose?
Plants only. Unbranched chain of 𝛽-glucose alternating upward and downward, C₆H₁₀O₅.

What is fructose?
5 sided monosaccharide with the chemical formula C₆H₁₂O₆.

What is amylose?
Polysaccharide, unbranched of α(1-4) glycosidic bond, plants only.

What is amylopectin?
Plants only, branched and unbranched chains of α(1-4) and (1-6) glycosidic bond, polysaccharide, C₆H₁₀O₁₅.

What is deoxyribose?
5 sided monosaccharide with the chemical formula C₅H₁₀O₄.
