Velocity

A combination of speed and direction that describes not just how fast an object is going, but also which way it is going.

Uniform Velocity

The movement of an object at a constant speed in a constant direction.

Speed

The rate of motion indicating how fast an object is going without specifying direction, such as $10\,\text{km/h}$.

Acceleration

A change in velocity, which occurs by changing speed (speeding up or slowing down), changing direction, or both.

Acceleration by Changing Direction

A form of acceleration occurring when an object maintains a constant speed while constantly changing its direction, such as a car driving around a circular roundabout.
